About us
Experience of building organisations, not just advising on them
We know how difficult it is to turn a good community idea into a functioning organisation.
Social Enterprise Launch exists because plenty of good ideas never become organisations. People know the need in their community and know what they want to deliver, but the structure, planning, documentation and funding side of it stops them.
Our support is grounded in practical experience: developing organisations and services, working with qualifications, assessment and internal quality assurance, and delivering in social care, community services and provision for young people.
That means the guidance you get is based on how these things actually work day to day — what funders ask for, what quality systems need to look like, what tends to go wrong, and what can realistically be achieved with the resources you have.

What we offer
Practical support across the life of your organisation
Start where it makes sense for your organisation and keep building from there.
Starting Your CIC
Develop your purpose, community benefit, activities, structure and business planning so your organisation is built on solid foundations.
Funding Readiness
Get the information funders expect into shape before you apply — need, outcomes, costs, delivery and evidence.
Training Provision
Guidance on what is involved in developing your own training provision, including systems, processes and quality arrangements.
Training, Assessment and IQA
Use our professional training, assessment and Internal Quality Assurance expertise rather than building every function internally.
Alternative Provision Support
Practical help for AP providers who need training, assessment and certification for the young people they support.
Ongoing Support
Continuing support as your organisation develops — funding, training, policies, quality systems and strategy.
Pricing is agreed after an initial conversation, once we understand the scope of support you need.
How we work
Straightforward, realistic and paced to your organisation
We start with your idea
A conversation about what you want to do, who it is for and where you are up to.
We agree what matters first
A practical order of work so effort goes into the things that unlock the next step.
We stay available
Support can continue as your organisation develops, at whatever level is useful.
One organisation. Multiple stages of support.
Start with your CIC, move into funding readiness, and add training provision when the time is right.
