Founder story
Three decades on the ground in social care.
Our founder spent 30 years working across the most demanding parts of UK social care — residential childcare, supported housing and substance misuse services — progressing from frontline practice to operational leadership and registered management.
That career sat directly with inspectors, commissioning teams and frontline staff. It produced a clear conviction: care quality rises and falls with the confidence and competence of the people leading services.
Summit Training and Consultancy exists to develop those leaders. As a qualified NVQ assessor and internal verifier, our founder designs every programme to translate immediately into stronger services, better staff retention and inspection-ready evidence.
